Apple is likely to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the iPhone next year with a significant redesign, according to reports. The tech giant may opt for an all-screen iPhone 20, featuring an innovative under-display camera Technology that could set a new standard for smartphone design.

Under-display camera technology takes center stage

Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station claims Apple is testing a quad-curved screen concept for the iPhone 20, suggesting a major overhaul of the device's display. The rumored design would eliminate traditional camera cutouts and facial recognition sensors, instead integrating them beneath the screen.

This Technology, while not entirely new, has faced development challenges. Apple was initially expected to debut an under-display Face ID with the iPhone 18 Pro, but recent rumors indicate a more incremental approach, with the unlock system potentially shrinking this year before a full under-display implementation by 2027.
