Google’s Gemini AI is getting a serious upgrade, streamlining the app-finding process like never before. Forget scrolling endlessly through the Play Store – now, you can simply ask Gemini to locate and install apps directly within your chat conversations.

Android-only for now – iphone users remain outside
For the moment, this enhanced functionality is exclusive to Android devices, specifically the Pixel 10 Pro. Apple users are currently relegated to the old Play Store routine. This creates a clear division in the Gemini experience, highlighting Google’s strategic focus on its Android platform.
