The feature, called Likenesses, was first introduced with Android XR, enabling users to participate in video calls while keeping their VR headsets on, with a digital avatar representing their appearance. Now, Gemini appears to be pushing the Technology further, offering the possibility of creating an avatar that works seamlessly across both mobile devices and desktop browsers.
