Pixel users gain bluetooth diagnostic tool in latest update

a new diagnostic tool for Pixel users aimed at troubleshooting bluetooth connectivity issues. The feature, titled Bluetooth diagnostics, is now available in the latest update to the Pixel Troubleshooting app, bringing it to version 1.0.885948717.![]()
Pixel bluetooth diagnostic tool: a game-changer for troubleshooting connectivity issues
The new diagnostic tool can be accessed by navigating to Settings> Connected devices> Bluetooth> Bluetooth diagnostics, or alternatively through Settings> Device health and support> Bluetooth diagnostics.
Once activated, the tool conducts a diagnostic test that determines whether a device is experiencing Bluetooth connectivity problems. This can be particularly useful for Pixel users struggling with issues like dropped calls, poor audio quality, or failed device pairing.
After identifying the problem, the Bluetooth diagnostics tool provides suggested solutions to improve connectivity, such as moving the Bluetooth accessory closer to the phone, restarting the device, forgetting the paired connection and re-pairing, or clearing the accessory's connection memory.
While not unique to Pixels, the inclusion of this feature underscores Google's commitment to providing its users with effective troubleshooting tools straight out of the box. Other Android flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S26 and S25 series also offer similar Bluetooth diagnostic capabilities.
