Samsung's galaxy z fold 8 ultra: a unique purple shade expected
Samsung is gearing up
to launch its next foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, in just a couple of weeks. While most of the details have already surfaced online, a recent poll suggests that the purple color option could be the most popular choice this year.
Four color options, with purple being the standout
Abdullah, a colleague who recently covered the story, revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will be available in four distinct shades: white, purple, green, and black. The green variant will be an online exclusive, meaning it won't be sold in carrier stores or electronic retailers.
According to the poll, 32.48% of voters prefer the purple shade, followed by the online-exclusive green at 25.72%. The classic black and white options received 25.08% and 16.72% of the votes respectively.
I, too, have a soft spot for the purple variant. Samsung has offered purple shades in their Galaxy S and Z Flip series before, but it would be the first time we see this finish in the Z Fold lineup.
Colors have become a significant selling point, with users now looking for unique and eye-catching options. Manufacturers are responding by providing at least one standout color in each of their smartphone models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra's unique purple shade, therefore, seems poised to be a hit.
While color is becoming a deciding factor, it's still the device's features that will ultimately matter most to consumers. The Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra is rumored to come with some notable upgrades over its predecessor, making it an exciting release to look forward to.
