Yet, according to former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s to come. Speaking at the Abundance Summit 2026, Schmidt delivered a stark assessment: humanity is currently experiencing a paltry 10-15% of AI’s genuine potential.

He posits that the trajectory of AI’s growth mirrors historical technological revolutions – initially slow and unassuming, then accelerating into an almost unstoppable force.
