The attack surface doesn’t shrink; the invoice just gains a flag sticker.
Bottom line: the administration traded 40 years of price-performance gains for a supply-chain mirage. Routers will cost more, ship late, and still boot overseas firmware. The only thing truly American-made here is the markup.
